Abstract

The interaction of technology users in an educational environment requires the application of virtual environments that favor student learning. This process can be carried out through the use of technological resources, which provide, in a timely manner, physical and logical support to the pedagogical processes that are executed in the teacher-student interaction. Technological resources are not exempt from failures due to the very nature of their technological infrastructure, making it necessary to apply monitoring methods with reliable standards. This led to the proposal of an ICT infrastructure usability model supported by the strategic management dimension, the risk management dimension, and the incident management dimension, in order to improve the sustainability of computer equipment, because it takes into account the functionality and useful life of hardware and software with a systemic approach and strategic structuring techniques, establishment of risk and monitoring judgments of the service provided in the Pedagogical Innovation Classrooms (PIC), and because, also, it is based on a need to adequately renew and maintain computer equipment to advantage the teaching-learning process in the environment of regular basic education.
